Foundation Nacho Carreras
For the investigation of thoracic deformities
Foundation Nacho Carreras's main purpose is to promote and support research into the thoracic deformaties.
- It is a private organization as a nonprofit foundation.
- It has been described as a Foundation for health general interest by ministerial order of December 16, 2010 and registered for that purpose in the register of foundations of the Ministry of Health, Social Policy and Equality os Spain.
- It is the purpose of the Foundation, whose realization has affected their heritage, contribute to the healing of thoracic deformities and improve the quality of life of patients and to support the study of the causes and origins of these deformities and their relationship to other pathologies and syndromes.

The creation and maintenance of this website is one of the main activities of the Nacho Carreras Foundation . Our goal is to incorporate to this page all updated about this deformation and information about its treatment.
For us it is very important also to help as possible to patients and families . This website has an online consultation , directly and confidentially with Dr. Leoncio Bento, former Chief of Pediatric Surgery of Hospital Virgen del Camino in Pamplona , medical coordinator of the web , and one of the reference Spanish surgeons in the treatment of pectus.
Foundation Board
The functions of the Board are to ensure the proper fulfillment of the objectives of the Foundation, and to coordinate the best and most useful investment of economic funds of the Foundation for the best achievement of the Foundation's goals.
The Board members are:
- Doctor Don Leoncio Bravo Bento. Former Chief of Pediatric Surgery, Hospital Virgen de Camino de Pamplona. Former President of the Spanish Society of Pediatric Surgery .
- Doctor Don Roberto de Inicencio Biangel . Psychiatrist . Former President of the World Association of psychodrama.
- Doctor Don Tito Salazar Hidalgo. Pediatrician . President of the Spanish Balearic Association of Primary Care Pediatrics .
- Doctor Don Antonio Gonzalez Torga. Microbiologist . Chief of Preventive Medicine at the Hospital of Alicante.
- Don José Carbonell Crespi. Notary Association of Notaries of Baleares.
- Don Antonio Vidal Sintes. Businessman.
- Doña María José Gallego Moreda . Businesswoman.
- Don Marcel Carreras Vilanova. Businessman.
- Don Xavier Carreras Moreda. Bachelor of International Hospitality Management.

To further develop our work of research and also helps to patients with pectus , the Nacho Carreras Foundation, besides their own economic backgrounds, receives donations from patients and families to support our work and in gratitude for the help they have found on the website.
